Repurposing my favorite SPICY dip!

I love to try new recipes! The first time I ever made paleorunningmomma’s Mexican Cauliflower Fried Rice, I fell in love with the Chipotle Ranch Dip drizzled over it. SPICY!!! It hit the spot…but I had too many leftovers. I ate some of it with plantain chips (probably TOO much and got a friend hooked as well!), then found myself repurposing my favorite spicy dip as the “mayo” for chicken salad!

There’s a lot of differing opinions on breakfast. A typical American breakfast these days is cereal and toast or bagels or some such…all grain-based carbs. Your body burns this kind of breakfast so quickly you get a boost of energy, but then it drops you flat in just a couple of hours. So maybe this isn’t what’s best for breakfast!

Garlic Garlic Dip (a copycat recipe) – and a bonus!

Several years back, we hosted a Tastefully Simple tasting party. We loved trying all the dips, beer bread, and so on. When all was said and done, we agreed on our favorite: Garlic Garlic made into dip! So bold and tasty, and really great with just about anything…crackers of all sorts, pretzels, cut veggies. Recently I wondered if I could make a copycat recipe for it…I think I came pretty close on Garlic Garlic Dip…even if you want it Whole30 compliant!

Recipe Renovation: Jamaican Macaroni

The hardest part about our first Whole30 was trying ALL new recipes…recipes we’d never had before, which meant not only did we NOT know if we would like what I cooked, it also meant a LOT more work for me (’cause new is harder than something you’ve made over and over). Eventually, I mastered what I call “recipe renovation” – changing many of our favorite recipes to be Whole30 compliant…family favorites like Jamaican Macaroni.
